That's one of the things that's drawing me to the Ibiza, the fact it does nearly 50mpg on a petrol engine! Lol. Yeah I've heard they're decent too 
Have to keep my eyes peeled for a model with alloys on it for the right price though, I fuckin' hate special-boy hubcaps!

looking good mate! yeah shame about the Metro. but i dont think you'll regret the Ibiza. You go for the 1.2?
